DESCRIPTION

· The KMA310/A is a single-channel magnetic angle sensor integrating MR sensor bridges and mixed signal IC in one package, optimized for PCB-less designs with integrated filters.

· It features user-specific adjustments for angular range, zero angle, and clamping voltages, stored permanently in non-volatile memory (NVM).

· The sensor is pre-programmed, pre-calibrated, and ready for immediate use.

FEATURES

· High precision magnetic angular measurement with integrated filters for enhanced EMC.

· Automotive qualified per AEC-Q100 Rev-H, with programmable user adjustments and fail-safe NVM.

· Operates independently from magnetic field strength above 25 kA/m, factory calibrated, and includes a separate temperature sensor and auxiliary ADC.

· Supports ratiometric analog output or SAE J2716 SENT compliant push-pull output, with overvoltage protection up to 18 V and power-loss detection.

· Features one-wire interface (OWI) for programming, 8 × 12-bit OEM code registers for ID, and is ISO 26262 ASIL-C capable.

· Offers multipoint calibration (MPC) with 17 equidistant or seven free selectable calibration points and low latency.
