DESCRIPTION

· The MC74HC4020A is a 14-stage binary ripple counter with high-performance silicon-gate CMOS technology.

· It features 14 master-slave flip-flops with 12 stages accessible via pins, where each flip-flop's output frequency is half of the preceding one.

· The device is compatible with standard CMOS outputs and, with pullup resistors, with LSTTL outputs.

· It includes an asynchronous, active-high reset function.
