DESCRIPTION

· The NPIC6C596A-Q100 is an 8-bit serial-in/serial or parallel-out shift register with open-drain outputs.
· Features separate clocks for shift and storage registers, serial input/output for cascading, and asynchronous reset.
· Data shifts on LOW-to-HIGH transitions of SHCP, transfers to storage register on LOW-to-HIGH transitions of STCP.
· Open-drain outputs support 33 V/100 mA continuous current, suitable for LEDs and power driver applications.
· Qualified to AEC-Q100 (Grade 1) for automotive use.

· Operates from -40 °C to +125 °C, wide supply range 2.3 V to 5.5 V.
