Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The TMCS1101 is a galvanically isolated Hall-effect current sensor for DC or AC current measurement, offering high accuracy, excellent linearity, and temperature stability.
· It features a low-drift, temperature-compensated signal chain with less than 1.5% full-scale error across the temperature range.
· The device includes an internal 1.8-mΩ conductor for current flow, generating a magnetic field measured by an integrated Hall-effect sensor, eliminating the need for external concentrators.
· It provides 600-V lifetime working voltage and 3-kV RMS basic isolation, with integrated electrical shielding for common-mode rejection and transient immunity.
· Available in unidirectional and bidirectional sensing variants, it operates from a single 3-V to 5.5-V power supply, with fixed sensitivity options to eliminate ratiometry errors and improve supply noise rejection.

· Total error: ±0.51% typical, ±1.15% maximum over -40°C to 85°C.
· Sensitivity error: ±0.5%, offset error: 9 mA, offset drift: 0.04 mA/°C, linearity error: 0.05%.
· Lifetime and environmental drift: <±0.5%, 3-kV RMS isolation rating, robust 600-V lifetime working voltage.
· Operating supply range: 3 V to 5.5 V, signal bandwidth: 80 kHz.
· Multiple sensitivity options: 50 mV/A, 100 mV/A, 200 mV/A, 400 mV/A.
· Safety certifications: UL 1577 Component Recognition Program, IEC/CB 62368-1.
