Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The LM80 is a hardware monitor that provides 7 positive voltage inputs, temperature measurement, fan speed measurement, and chassis intrusion detection via an I2C interface.

· It performs WATCHDOG comparisons of all measured values and activates an open-drain interrupt output when any values exceed programmed limits.

· The LM80 is compatible with both linear and digital temperature sensors, making it versatile for various monitoring applications.



FEATURES

· Temperature sensing with an error of ±3°C from -25°C to 125°C.

· Voltage monitoring with a maximum error of ±1%.

· 7 positive voltage inputs and 2 programmable fan speed monitoring inputs.

· Supply voltage range from 2.8V to 5.75V with low operating and shutdown currents.

· 8-bit ADC resolution and 0.5°C temperature resolution.

· I2C serial bus interface compatibility and shutdown mode for minimal power consumption.
