Pin Functions

  • DATA: Serial programming data input.
  • RESET: Active low - resets all on-chip shift registers to logic zero.
  • PD: Active low - switches off bias generators to analog cells.
  • CLOCK: Clocks in the serial data to program the TRAC device.
  • DOUT: Serial data output from cell 20; used for validation and chaining.
  • CLCR: Clock Clear; used to switch off downloading circuitry.
  • IO1, IO2: Analog inputs for cells 1 and 2.
  • IO3..IO22: Analog inputs/outputs for cells 3 to 20.
  • VDD: Positive supply rail (+3V).
  • AGND: Analog Ground.
  • VSS: Negative supply rail (-2V).

Cell Functions

  • ADD (code 011): Represents an operational amplifier with three equal resistors, providing an inverted sum of input voltages.
  • NEGATE (code 010): Provides a single-input adder with an inverted output.
  • NON-INVERTING PASS (code 100): Provides a unity gain amplifier.
  • LOG (code 110): Represents an operational amplifier with a pair of diodes and an input resistor.
  • ANTI-LOG (code 101): Similar to LOG but with reversed diodes and resistors.
  • RECTIFIER (code 111): Similar to ANTI-LOG but with one diode removed.
  • AUX (code 001): Operational amplifier with external components for amplification, attenuation, differentiation, and integration.
  • OFF (code 000): No signal path through the cell.
