DESCRIPTION

· The ADS131A02 and ADS131A04 are two- and four-channel, simultaneous-sampling, 24-bit, delta-sigma ADCs.

· These devices offer wide dynamic range with scalable data rates up to 128 kSPS and include internal fault monitors.

· They are suitable for energy monitoring, grid protection, and control applications.

· The ADCs can interface directly with resistor-divider networks, current transformers, or Rogowski coils for voltage or current measurement.

· Available in a 32-pin TQFP package, operating over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.

FEATURES

· 2 or 4 simultaneous-sampling differential inputs.

· High performance with single-channel accuracy better than 0.1% at 10,000:1 dynamic range.

· Includes ADC self-checks, cyclic redundancy check (CRC), and hamming code error correction on communications.

· Multiple SPI data interface modes including asynchronous interrupt and synchronous master and slave.
